This is a gorgeous embroidered Fukusa from Japan dated 1948. It reads "In remembrance of my stay in Japan" across the top. The banner beneath the eagle reads "A mission for peace, 1948". Underneath that it reads "Fukuoka, Japan". This piece is in beautiful shape and would make a gorgeous addition to any home!
Outside of frame measurements- 30.5" W x 24.5 H x 1"D
the actual piece measures - 17.25 W x 15.25 H .
