Denise Godbout was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec in 1957 and
lived her childhood amidst the scenic beauty of les Cantons-de-l’Est (the Eastern Townships).  After completing her studies in graphic arts, she soon set out to travel across the Americas, Europe and the Middle East to go beyond academics and expose herself to a world of incomparable artworks. Whether it was paintings from the world’s masters, cathedrals, temples, treasures of popular art or simply the masterpiece of nature in all its glory, this experience of the sublime opened wide the doorway to artistic creation.
