Beautiful antique 18th century Swiss walnut Merchant's Table.. This table is peg constructed with exposed dovetails. The tabletop slides on cut groove tracks and exposes a "cash box/drawer" in the top of the table base. Very cool!!!!
Talk about wishing for a piece to be able to talk! There is no telling how much business was done across this table. This is a solid walnut piece that exudes character. Heavy and classy!
